Jim met with voters in Redding, CA on April 24, 2012. This is the first election in the district in a quarter century without an incumbent, and it's past time for a change. Jim's knowledge about tax law, water policy and living wage job creation, and his dedication to education and preserving the values and the beauty of the Northstate make him eminently qualified. He is approachable, responsive and intelligent--exactly what we'd all like to see more of in Congress.

 On February 4, 2012, Jim spoke at the Nevada County Democratic Women's Club about taxes, Social Security, the plight of the middle class, and other relevant issues to this year's election. A local news blogger, Don Pelton, was there and captured Jim's speak on video.
